View script function - tag info

Sometimes you need to know the info about the tag such as the status or value of the tag. Tag must be used in a view if you want to retrieve info about it.

Getting the status about the tag

var status=myscada.getTagStatus(tag);

Example:

var status=myscada.getTagStatus(‘H:0@M’);

Getting the value of the tag

var value=myscada.getTagValue(tag);

Example:

var value=myscada.getTagValue(‘H:0@M’);

Getting the value and status at once of the tag

var obj=myscada.getTagInfo(tag);

Example:

var value=myscada.getTagInfo(‘H:0@M’);
